Vitamin D3

Beyond bones, Vitamin D3 also plays a large role in your immune system, your mood, and your energy levels. Low D3 is linked to fatigue, low mood, and a weakened immune response. Your body can make its own Vitamin D from sunlight, but only when the UV index is high enough. In Britain, that window is approximately June to August, on the days it doesn't rain, between 11am and 3pm. The rest of the year, you're on your own. 4,000 IU a day keeps the deficiency away.

Vitamin K2

K2 doesn't get the headlines, but it probably should. Beyond directing calcium to your bones and away from your arteries, K2 plays a key role in supporting cardiovascular health and maintaining healthy blood clotting. Most people have never heard of it. Most supplements don't include it. We think that's a problem, so we fixed it.

Turmeric (Curcumin)

Turmeric has been used in traditional medicine for over 4,000 years. Curcumin — the active compound in turmeric — has now been studied extensively for its antioxidant properties and its role in supporting joint comfort and normal mobility. It contributes to normal joint function and has been linked to improved general wellbeing. The catch? On its own, your body absorbs almost none of it. That's where the next ingredient comes in.

Black Pepper (Piperine)

Piperine doesn't do much on its own. What it does is make everything else dramatically more effective. By inhibiting the enzymes in your gut and liver that would otherwise break down nutrients before they reach your bloodstream, Piperine increases the bioavailability of curcumin by up to 2,000% and may also significantly improves the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins like D3 and K2. Without it, you're taking an expensive supplement and absorbing a fraction of it. With it, you're actually getting what you paid for.
